This is a great vaccuum, we use it every other day. Some parts are not built as well like the cord wrap tab which broke with normal use. I heard an awful noise while using it and then the ends of the roller disinegrated and threw plastic chunks everywhere! Had to replace the belts numerous times but the roller is the first. It makes a horrible noise and smells like burning plastic. It is good to know that there is a website like this to re-order parts at great prices and not have to buy a new vaccuum.

This is my second time ordering this product. I don't use the vacuum too often, and I take excellent care of it. I clean all hair from the roller brush, esp in the ends. I replace the belts before needed. I have to remove the roller brush and belt before using the extension wand because there is no roller stop function.
Because this piece is all plastic, it is very easily heat damaged. The ends get warped and the whole bar bangs around. It gets worse over time. We only have about 900 sq ft of medium pile carpet.
Overall I would give the vacuum 5 *'s for performance. But because of this single part I give it 4 *'s.
